The 2nd Annual Gary Edwards Leadership Day will be April 26, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church (across from Live Oak jail). The event will be for both boys and girls in grades 5th thru 12th.

We will focus on 2 concepts this year for the Gary Edwards Leadership Day: (1) Career Readiness (2) Jail Tour

Sheriff Tony Cameron has agreed to give a tour of the jail, officers to speak to kids, and give a tour of the court house/court room.

The career readiness portion will feature: school counselors, business owners, Vo-Tech representations, and military to discuss careers and opportunities after graduation.

When: April 26, 2014

Time: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm

Where: First United Methodist Church (311 S Ohio Ave, Live Oak, FL 32064)- Career readiness will begin here and then kids will be escorted to Live Oak jail lead by Sheriff Tony Cameron with court house/court room visit

Lunch: Dixie Grill

9:30 – 10:30 Career Readiness- First United Methodist Church

10:30 – 11:00 Transition to Jail for tour and check in

11:00- 12:00- Jail tour/Court house/Court room visit

12:30- Lunch at Dixie Grill
